My Story;
I’m a self-confessed ‘Tech Geek’. A Web2.0 and Open Source enthusiast. At 6 foot 5, I’m medically a giant. My interests are mostly virtual; playing online games, surfing the web2.0, and buying new gadgets. I also enjoy Martial Arts and bike riding.
College/Uni
I got into webdesign back in the days of Geocities – funtimes. I took Multimedia in college, where I learned Photoshop, 3D Modelling/Animation, Photography, Audio/Visual Production and all the usual. I then went on to study a BSc in Computer Games Design and Programming; the main focuses being C++/Java/C# Programming, Physics, some more 3D Modelling/Animation, level design and game play design. I wrote my dissertation on the use of ‘Education in a Virtual Envirnoment’, which I will publish here in due time. I’m also planning to co-author a book with my (now ex) Physics lecturer, that should be interesting – so watch this space (or watch Amazon best-sellers, at least
).
Freelance
While in Uni I did a lot of freelance work, not just web design/development projects, but I also focused on designing corporate entities for virtual worlds. Companies (or individuals) would need lifelike representations of themselves in the form of avatars, for virtual meetings/conferences/promotions and advertising campaigns. Some of my past clients include; SAP, Intel, Sulake, Mini Cooper, HBO, Hyla Matthews, Leo Burnett, Thomas W Malone, Roger Bingham
Net Communities
During the end of my time at Uni, I did some freelance webdesign/dev work for Net Communities. Once I had finished I Uni, I started consulting there as project manager, replacing my good friend Ruk Cooray, who left the company to start SRC LDN.
SRC LDN
After leaving Net Communties I joined Ruk full-time at SRCLDN (pronounced Source London). Watch this space…
Broken Silence
In my spare time I’m also on the management team of Broken Silence, a UK charity focused on spreading awareness of Sickle Cell Anaemia, through regional events such as Talent Contests.
“Last of the freelance hackers and Greatest swordfighter in the world.” – Snow Crash A great book, by Niel Stephenson.

The random rants and babble of an entrepreneur in London. My favourite topics being Linux, Web2.0 and Life.
