Passwords

by Calvin Robinson on September 4, 2008.

Whew!

I just changed my passwords to everything. All my local machines, every social network, forum etc. That I can remember using.

Wrote a list consisting of alpha/numberic/symbolic passphrases.
I’m always telling people to use letters, numbers and non-alphanumberic (@!#$% etc.) characters in their passwords, so I thought it was about damn time I took my own advice.

Lol my old passwords were so brute-force friendly. They weren’t words or anything stupid, but they wouldn’t take me long to crack. I’ve been meaning to change them for a while, but I’m so damn lazy.

And if you can’t remember passwords – WRITE THEM DOWN! On paper that is. Buy a notebook, keep it somewhere safe.
Use a random generator, and create a different password for every website or at least every type of service, that you use.
